Service Description
This training offers opportunities to learn more about this ever more popular life skill - mindfulness. The participants will gain knowledge of what mindfulness is, how to build a practise, the science of habit building and how to live in a more mindful way. Mindfulness has a growing body of evidence for a multitude of benefits on health and well being such as improved self-awareness, better emotional regulation, stress reduction and simply experiencing life in a more joyful way. By empowering support workers with these skills, this will benefit them on a personal level in their own wellbeing. Furthermore, it will enable participants to support their client in a more mindful way. The support team can then share these skills with the client, to allow them to live more mindfully, thus improving the clients well-being and enjoyment of life.
